An Eternal Investment

Let me know at your soonest convenience if you can assist…God Bless!

Hello, I just thought I would drop in and remind you and thank you…

I would like to thank you again for supporting me on my previous trip to Swaziland. When I got back from that trip I put together a Newsletter giving you an idea how your support has blessed the students in Swaziland as well as myself. I want to make another request and I want to thank you for graciously lending me your ears. On 3rd June I begin teaching Systematic Theology 3 at Bethany School of Missions in Tongaat and then after that on the 10th of June 2013 I leave for Swaziland for a week to teach the same subject at the Lubumbo Baptist Church where 16 students attended in March.  Thank you for praying in this regard. I have to be self-funded for these trips therefore I write this note to you asking if you would pray and consider at least R100,00 towards these trips. Your funds go towards travel, accommodation, food, education supplies, teaching materials and instructor resources and empowerment. Although I don’t like imposing on your finances I just thought that this would be great opportunities for you to invest in. Just to refresh your memory, the link to my itinerary for Tongaat and Lubombo can be downloaded and viewed by clicking  and the newsletter of my most recent trip to Swaziland can be downloaded by clicking . Also, I want to remind you that your generosity has begun the start of 4 new churches since October 2014. This brings the total number of churches from this particular ministry to 13 in Swaziland and 2 in Mozambique. Praise the Lord!  If you say “YES” you can deposit your generous contribution into the following account (which is at the bottom of this page) but before you do so, please take some time to ruminate over God’s word as you consider your partnership with me.

Some Scripture Passages to Consider as you pray about your partnership with me:

2 Corinthians 8:1-7  “And now, brothers, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches.  2 Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity.  3 For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own,  4 they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the saints.  5 And they did not do as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us in keeping with God’s will.  6 So we urged Titus, since he had earlier made a beginning, to bring also to completion this act of grace on your part.  7 But just as you excel in everything– in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us–see that you also excel in this grace of giving.”

Matthew 6:19-21  “19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.  20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.  21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Philippians 1:3-7  “3 I thank my God every time I remember you.  4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy  5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,  6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.  7 It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart; for whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me.”

2 Corinthians 9:6-12  “6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.  7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.  8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.  9 As it is written: “He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.”  10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.  11 You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.  12 This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.”
